So when was it that computers were invented? The 1970s? The 1980s? Things sure have changed, haven’t they? In the 1960s it took a computer the size of a
room to do modest calculations, maybe 100 operations a second?
And now? One GHz means, one billion operations per second. Though after hitting the
One GHz mark in order to improve performance both Pentium and AMD have followed suit in increasing the clock speed at the expense of increasing the heating on
the cheap and subsequently the cooling required to keep that chip running.
And as desktop computers improved in performance, laptops followed.
Computing power and mobility – perfect for the student and the professional on the go. Now, with the dual core technology, aluminum casing and other technology
advances a laptop is truly able to compete with a desktop.
New HP, Sony, and Dell Laptops carry an impressive arsenal of features: 2GHz dual core
processor, essentially two processors in one, 1 or more GB of ram, my desktop has less, 100 GB or more of hard drive space, 6 hour batter life, and on and on.
However all these features come at a price that is exactly calculable, a nice two thousand dollars, or more.
But what most people don’t realize is that they
can get that same Dell, Dual Core Pentium with 1GB of ram and 100GB of space laptop for free. That’s right for free. Companies are giving away these laptops
everyday. And thousands have already been shipped. Whether for marketing purposes, or for completing free offers, or for whatever other reason, people can get
free laptops.
Just as you comparison shop for all the goods that you buy, consider this as an option. The Internet is packed with lots of information; there are
truly gems out there. Before you spend your two thousand dollars on that brand new laptop consider learning how to get it for free, if it works for you then you’ve got
a free laptop and saved $2,000 and if it doesn’t work then you’ve lost 30 minutes of your time.
Brenda Moore has gone through 3 laptop computers in her time. An HP and two dells. She has received one of them for free. You
can see the resources she by going here: free laptop and choose between a dell laptop, sony
laptop, or others.
